The Indira Gandhi Tulip Garden, which is situated between Dal Lake and the Zabarwan hills, has opened its doors to the public. It is the largest tulip garden in Asia spread over an area of about 30 ha (74 acres).
Besides 16 lakh tulips, the garden, also known as Siraj Bagh, has other spring flowers, such as hyacinths, daffodils, muscari, and cyclamens on display to enthral the visitors. The Tulip Garden in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar is the largest in Asia.
